DIY: Gluten Free Mug Cake!

Here’s a quick and easy recipe for a gluten free chocolate mug cake that you can make in the microwave!

Ingredients (adapted from Food Network):

3 tablespoons of gluten-free all-purpose flour (Bob’s Red Mill 1 to 1 flour works well!)

3 tablespoons of sugar

2 tablespoons cocoa powder

1/4 teaspoon baking powder

Pinch of salt

3 tablespoons milk

3 tablespoons vegetable oil

Splash vanilla extract

3 tablespoons chocolate chips

In a 12-oz microwave-safe mug, mix the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder and salt.

Add milk, vegetable oil, and vanilla.

Mix until smooth.

Stir in the chocolate chips.

Microwave for 90 seconds on full power. The cake will spring up but will still look a little gooey. Let the cake sit for 3-5 minutes and enjoy while warm!
